How to-- heat protectant spray

Make your own heat protectant spray if you dont already have some...  :)

Get a spray bottle.

Fill it about 1 inch down from the brim with water.
Squirt in about a dime size of conditioner, or one pump if it's a pump bottle. Depending on what size bottle you have, add more or less. Use a color protecting if you don't have a heat protecting. Also try a vitamin-enriched one, if possible.

Add just a little tiny bit of hairspray. Twist the cap back on, and shake the bottle until it is well-mixed.

Using Your Spray

Spray all over your hair before blow drying or flat-ironing. Or, you can spray section by section. Smooth the iron over the hair to straighten all around the head.

When you are finished, spray this and then hairspray all around. This spray also fixes frizz, flyaways, and extremely static hair.
